Focus and scope

The Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Hortícolas (Colombian Journal of Horticultural Science) is  scientific journal of the Sociedad Colombiana de Ciencias Hortícolas (SCCH) (country member of International Society for Horticultural Science -ISHS) and the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (UPTC), is published four-monthly for the national territory since 2007. It is a publication open to discussion and dissemination of technical and scientific studies in the area of agricultural sciences, with an emphasis on horticulture (fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, aromatic and medicinal plants, nurseries) and related disciplines proposed by national and international authors. It seeks to disseminate unpublished works developed by researchers from various universities and research centers in the country, and to disseminate and subject to discussion the scientific advances that are produced, in order to contribute to the consolidation of an academic community gathered around disciplines related to horticulture. The journal is geared toward horticultural science researchers, extension workers, and all professions related to the development of science and technology needed for the benefit of rural productivity and horticultural producers. Published three times a year.
