Frente a la ontología, Lévinas propone recuperar al Otro como fuente de sentido y, aún más, como principio constitutivo de la subjetividad por la responsabilidad que el sujeto debe asumir frente a él. The Other, therefore, is reduced and lost in the totality and universality of being. Regarding ontology, Lévinas proposes to recover the Other as a source of meaning and, even more, as a constitutive principle of subjectivity due to the responsibility that the subject has to take on in front of him/her. The other, therefore, is revealed in the face that utters «Thou shalt not kills&gt,&gt, as the very first words.</p><p>Keywords: violence, ontology, face, other, relationship, responsibility.</p>}, number={7}, journal={Cuestiones de Filosofía}, author={Losada Sierra, Manuel}, year={2013}, month={nov.}, pages={81–90} }
