View No. 4 (2002): Gabriela Mistral

This monographic issue is dedicated to the education of women, taking Gabriela Mistral as the central character of the Magazine No. 4. In fact, the Chilean Gabriela Mistral, whose real name is Lucila Godoy Alcaya (1889-1960), represents the prototype of a large percentage of Latin American women. Women like Gabriela overcome difficulties and achieve academic merits such as the one she achieved by winning the Nobel Prize for literature, the first for a Latin American woman.
