Caracterización dinámica preliminar de suelos de San Juan de Pasto mediante el método de microtrepidaciones propuesto por Nakamura
Abstract
Teniendo en cuenta la amenaza sísmica a la que seencuentra sometida la ciudad de San Juan de Pasto, es de
vital importancia conocer la respuesta o comportamiento
de sus suelos frente a las ondas sísmicas. Para ello se
realizaron estudios de análisis dinámico de suelos, que
permitieron obtener la caracterización dinámica de 23 sitios
de la ciudad. El cálculo de periodos de resonancia se realizó
mediante métodos numéricos (Zeevaert, NSR-98), además
del método de microtrepidaciones propuesto por
Nakamura. Mediante el programa ProShake se obtuvieron
periodos de resonancia para los 23 sitios, además de los
espectros elásticos de respuesta. Finalmente, con los
resultados obtenidos se realizó un diagnóstico preliminar
en lo referente al uso de la NSR-98, calculando espectros
elásticos de diseño mediante la formulación de la NSR-
98, y espectros de diseño en función de las condiciones
locales y de los diferentes niveles de intensidad sísmica,
espectros que se muestran en una gráfica comparativa.
