Metodologías indirectas para la detección y corrección de series de tiempo heterogéneas

Para  la  realización  de  estudios  hidrológicos  y climáticos,  que  involucran  series  de  tiempo,  es necesario  que  estas  se  encuentren  libres de  errores que afecten la calidad de los resultados. Se describen las metodologías  indirectas  objetivas  para  la detección y corrección de heterogeneidades en series de tiempo, compuestas por cuatro fases: revisión de la metadata,  control  de  calidad  de  las  series, elaboración  de  la  serie  de  referencia  y  la identificación y  corrección de heterogeneidades. Se presentan criterios propuestos por diferentes autores en  la  aplicación  de  las  diferentes  fases  descritas. Finalmente  se  listan  algunos  programas  de computador,   de  uso  libre,   diseñados  para  la corrección  de  heterogeneidades  o  que  cuentan  con herramientas para evaluar  la homogeneidad.
