Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- Postulated articles to the Journal must have a maximum length of 26 pages including all elements.
- The typing must be done in a 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, one column and all margins of 2 cm on letter-size sheet
- The title of the article should be short or divided in title and subtitle, attractive to the potential reader, no more than 20 words. In the same way, it must include the English translation of the title.
- The full name of the authors must be included and below each one, their affiliation: Bachelor’s degree, last postgraduate degree, institution where they work, city, country, e-mail and Orcid code. The maximum number of authors allowed is seven (7).
- To present the content, it is recommended the use four subtitles starting with introduction and ending with conclusions, which are mandatory. According to the nature of article, it would be desirable to have the following sections: 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology, 3. Results and Discussion, 4. Conclusions, Acknowledgements, if there are, and References.
- It should avoid the use: indents, hyperlinks, bullets, headers and footnotes, as these elements are not accepted for layout. That is, the text should be as flat as possible, without special styles that make it difficult to manipulate the files.
- It will include an abstract in Spanish of maximum 150 words with its English translation, four key words in Spanish and English.

Figures can be done in color, they must be referenced within the text, numbered
and be clearly titled. In addition, they must be located in the closest place to where they are
cited for the first time. The maximum number of figures allowed is five (5). - The figures must have an adequate quality and contrast for their reproduction on any type of paper, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
- The tables must be edited from Word and not inserted as an image, and they must also be be referenced within the text. The maximum number of tables allowed is five (5).
- When articles include equations, these must be elaborated in an appropriated editor, for example Microsoft’s equation editor. Furthermore, the equations should be enumerated in a consecutive way and be referenced within the text.
- At least half of the references are expected to be scientific articles from the last four years.
- The Journal uses the system of the American Psychological Association, APA, seventh edition, for the elaboration of references and citation.
