Efeitos do confinamento da pandemia de SARS-CoV-2 em distúrbios metabólicos (obesidade e DM2) e carcinoma lobular da mama

Resumo

As medidas de isolamento e confinamento devido à pandemia de SARS-Cov-2 tiveram um impacto no tratamento, monitoramento e controle de doenças não transmissíveis, como diabetes, carcinoma lobular de mama e obesidade, de acordo com a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS). Da mesma forma, a imposição de medidas rigorosas por órgãos governamentais em muitos países, incluindo a Colômbia, para controlar e mitigar o surto de COVID-19, como o fechamento de academias, centros esportivos e espaços públicos, levou a uma redução de 35% nos níveis de atividade física no início dessa pandemia, o que é um ponto-chave para analisar e propor estratégias para a prevenção da maioria das doenças crônicas.
