Caracterización de los cuencos de deflexión en estructuras de pavimentos flexibles

Abstract

El propósito del  artículo es mostrar  la  caracterización de  los  cuencos de deflexión  en una  estructura de pavimento flexible y modelar el comportamiento del cuenco de deflexión ante la variación de los módulos de elasticidad y los espesores de las diferentes capas  que  integran  un modelo  estructural  de  pavimentos. El análisis de la deflexión se hace  teniendo
en  cuenta  una  estructura  de  pavimento  flexible  de referencia,  constituida  por  una  capa  de  rodadura asfáltica, una capa de base granular y una capa de subbase granular, apoyado todo el paquete estructural  sobre  la  subrasante. Para  la modelación  de  los cuencos de deflexión se utilizó el programa BISAR 3.0 de la SHELL, y para el cálculo de los parámetros que caracterizan el cuenco de deflexión se utilizó la
metodología de la AASHTO. Finalmente, se presentan  las  conclusiones  del  comportamiento  de  los cuencos de deflexión en pavimentos  flexibles. El artículo es producto del proyecto de investigación titulado Caracterización de los cuencos de deflexión
