Call for Papers 49. Special issue. Feminist and feminist voices: literatures of resistance and transformation.

La Palabra journal extends a kind invitation to contribute to the special issue for the year 2024, which will approach the great theme of feminine and feminist voices: literatures of resistance and transformation.

Topics:

  • Analysis from feminist theories to literary works by female and male authors.
  • Review of recent works and collections of women's literature.
  • Feminine experience in writing and literature.
  • Analysis of the representation of women in literature.
  • Analysis of literary works by contemporary women writers that address issues of gender, identity, and power.
  • Comparative studies of the representation of femininity and feminist resistance in different literary and cultural traditions.
  • Explorations of the relationship between literature and feminist movements, both historical and contemporary.
  • Investigations of how feminist literature has influenced critical theory, literary criticism, and cultural studies.
  • Examinations of the intersectionality of gender with other forms of oppression, such as race, class, and sexuality, in contemporary literature.

Papers that develop these or any other topic that may be related to the general theme of the issue may be submitted for evaluation until October 14 of this year.

Call for papers Issue (2024). Literature and Digital Humanities and Artificial intelligence

This special issue seeks to contribute to the current discussion around digital humanities as fields of research in literature in relation to artificial intelligence, the use of ChatGPT, assisted creation, humanities, cultural studies and the arts.

- Archiving, heritage and digital mediation as forms of literary exploration.

- Artificial Intelligence, use of ChatGPT and assisted creation in the arts and humanities.

- Digital humanities applied to art, humanities and cultural studies.

The journal La Palabra informs the academic community that the year 2021 will be composed of three issues. At the moment the call is open Cinema and Literature and The Miscellaneous number (number that is composed by literary articles of different themes). The publication of the journal will be continuous, that is, that article that performs editorial process, (acceptance, style correction and layout), will be published immediately on the platform.

Two articles from the No 40 Dossier: Cinema and Literature are now available on the website.
