Conflict of interest policy
A conflict of interest occurs when authors, reviewers or editors have interests that could influence any of the stages related to the publication process.
According to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), these interests can be personal, commercial, political, academic or economic. The latter, in turn, may include: employment, research funds, share ownership, payment for conferences or travel, consultancy and business support. *(COPE, 1999),

The journal encourages authors to communicate any conflicts of interest that may arise when writing and/or submitting a publication proposal. Likewise, reviewers are required to declare any conflict of interest that may influence the task requested of them. The journal reserves the right to unassign the corresponding review based on this latest information.
The RIDI Editorial Committee is committed to making decisions that favor the absence of conflicts of interest in all phases of the editorial process.
