Compuestos de neutralización (Mg²+ y Ca²+), asociados a la deposición atmosférica (wet-only y dry only)

Resumen

Este estudio se realizó en una zona rural (Andorra Teruel) al  NE  de  España,  donde  se  determinó  la  relación contributiva (marina/continental) de  los compuestos de neutralización (Mg   y  Ca )  que  acompañan  la  deposición atmosférica  seca y húmeda en  forma  separada. El análisis de los resultados reveló una similitud del ratio Mg /Ca   entre  los  eventos  húmedos  y  secos,  caso diferente  ocurrió  con  la  relación  Mg /Cl   donde  la deposición húmeda mostró mayor extracción de cloruros (20%)  que  la  deposición  atmosférica  seca,  debido posiblemente a  la  solubilidad de  sus  sales.
Se debe resaltar que en nuestro caso, el ácido nítrico fue neutralizado por el NH  en la deposición húmeda, y en proporciones  ligeramente  superiores  por  carbonato cálcico  procedente  de  las  partículas  terrígenas.  Estas conclusionesson similares a las obtenidas por Pakkanen, (1996) y Harrison y Kito (1990). También se observó el Ca  como el mayor agente de neutralización del ácido nítrico  (deposición  seca) y que  la  interacción de Na   - HNO  no es probable en  la deposición húmeda.
