Strategies to facilitate the implementation of blockchain in the supply chain of SMEs

Abstract

This study focuses on exploring more effective strategies for adopting blockchain technology in supply chains. While blockchain implementation in SMEs offers significant benefits, it also faces challenges such as financial constraints, resistance to change, and a lack of technical knowledge. To address these issues, a systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted to identify key factors affecting blockchain adoption and strategies for its implementation. The methodology included an extensive database search using terms related to blockchain, supply chain, and SMEs, followed by the application of the PRISMA method. The results identified strategies such as gradual blockchain implementation, staff training, and collaboration with technology partners. It concludes that a gradual implementation approach, combined with training and collaboration, is essential for effective adoption.
