The Journal Historia de la Educación Latinoamericana - RHELA- No. 29, presents on this occasion, a valuable contribution on the discussion that is currently taking place in Latin American universities around pedagogical approaches and models. This, together with the training of Latin American educators. In this way, the works on these topics have been prioritized because the researchers approach these contents from different theoretical and methodological perspectives with a Latin American viewpoint. In this sense, we must indicate that education-pedagogy-teacher training is in fact, the central theme, which this journal will deal with again in 2018, perhaps more specifically on the Teacher Training Colleges, which are in the limelight in some countries, where these institutions still survive due to the conditions of Latin American educational development.
