Review of "Dialectología Hispánica": a comprehensive work for researchers interested in Spanish linguistics

Abstract
The volume "Dialectología Hispánica", from the book The Routledge Handbook of Spanish Dialectology, edited by Francisco Moreno Fernández and Rocío Caravedo and published by Routledge Publishing House (Moreno & Caravedo, 2023), is a handbook that presents the results of the latest research on the evolution of the varieties of the Spanish language in all its geographies. The book has the collaboration of fifty-nine specialists from more than twenty countries and therefore gathers works that, adopting a multidisciplinary perspective, delve into the dialectal reality of Spanish. It is aimed at researchers, teachers and students whose area of interest is linguistics, linguistic variation and language contact, with a specific focus on the Spanish language.
