This is the twenty-eighth edition of the journal Historia de la Educación Latinoamericana that you have in your hands. On this occasion, researchers were invited to present research, analysis and reviews on the university movements of the late twentieth century and so far in the twenty-first century, divided into three parts. The first presents articles on the problematic of student movements and their dynamics in the face of neoliberal logic. The texts in this section analyze the new modalities of capitalization of the self that modify collective actions by means of information and communication technologies. The second part of this issue includes research on the history of education. The third and last part of the journal is devoted to reviews of books and serials; its reading allows those interested in Latin American education to explore future research.
