The magazine Historia de la Educación Latinoamericana that you have in your hands today corresponds to the 25th edition. Its central theme is the Normal Schools and it is dedicated to a great normalist, educator and historian of Guatemalan education, Dr. Carlos González Orellana, who as a keen researcher, made a significant contribution to the education of that country. Dr. Carlos González Orellana transcended generations to the point that his work is studied in all education and history careers in the universities of the country because to date it has not yet been surpassed and continues to be a reference for every educator.
